The Stitchers is not funded by the Foundation, any church or organization.

Kind and generous people who have heard of us donate fabric, yarn and anything sewing-related to us.  This includes thread, knitting needles, lace and other useful items.  We use whatever fabric, yarn or notions we receive.

We do not ask for money but once in a while, we will receive small cash donations.  We do accept money when it is offered.  However each member usually contributes at least $10.00 each year if they can afford it.  We do have expenses, such as, batting, elastic, yarn, thread, sewing machine repairs, and other items that are generally not donated.

Sometimes, people will also donate new or nearly new items that were purchased at stores.  We will donate these items directly to the Foundation for their distribution.
